Aged for 12 months in oak barrels, mostly French and some American. Dark royal purple in color, medium to full bodied with tannins and wood in fine balance with fruit. Tasting of black currants, blackberries and a light earthy overlay. On the finish reveal spicy oak and hints of green and black pepper with a palm and vanilla flavor, with soft tannins and a fruity, rich and long- lasting taste.
